Hello, my name is Anna Taylor and I am the sole craftsperson behind Taylor Made, creating fun ceramic smoke ware by hand in a sunny studio on Agricola Street, Halifax, NS. 

My journey with Cannabis started before I ever smoked, when I was diagnosed with epilepsy and began learning about and advocating for decriminalization in Canada. As an epileptic person cannabis has always been intertwined with my life and my health through light recreational use. Though I continue to be amazed at the medical applications, my focus is creating products for leisure. This is where well crafted smoke ware came into play: what started in 2016 as a fun side project turned into a deep dive into design, function and process with the aim of bringing joy to your smoking rituals.

Slip casting ceramics allows me to make hollow forms which are perfect for pipes and bongs. The smoke moves through either a hollow or water-filled chamber, cooling it for a smoother hit. The fully glazed interiors mean they are safe to use and easy to clean while remaining beautiful objects to put on display in your home.
